Hankook Tire to supply tires for Hyundai Motor Group’s driving experi-ence program

Global leading tire company Hankook Tire will supply its ultra-high performance tires for HMG Driving Experience, a driving experience program run by Hyundai Motor Group.
Hyundai Motor Group has been operating HMG Driving Experience at the Inje Speedium racing circuit in Gangwon province, South Korea. It is aimed at people with all levels of experience from hobby drivers to motorsport enthusiasts by offering opportunities to learn basic driving skills as well as to enjoy professional-level sport car driving with Hyundai Motor Group’s various types of vehicles and motorsports know-hows.
Hankook plans to provide the best-possible driving experience to consumers who participate in the HMG Driving Experience by supplying its ultra-high performance tires with utmost technologies. Tires that Hankook supplies include its semi racing tire, Ventus RS-4, which guarantees ultra-high performance as well as Ventus S1 evo3 and Ventus S1 evo3 SUV from the Ventus Premium Sport product category. Dynapro HP2 and Dynapro HL3 from the Dynapro Comfort product category, its SUV tire line-up, are also on the list.
Meanwhile, Hankook & Company Group, the holding company of Hankook Tire & Technology, signed an agreement with Hyundai Motor Group in June last year to establish a test drive center, named HMG Driving Experience Center, inside Hankook Tire‘s driving test site in Taean, South Chungcheong Province, South Korea.
Currently, Hankook is in the process of constructing the site and is expecting to have it completed in the first half of 2022. It’s going to be the largest tire driving test site in Asia, covering 1.26 million square meters, which is as big as 176 soccer fields combined.
