End-of-Life Tire Upcycling Project

Hankook Tire has initiated a project to recycle end-of-life tires generated in numbers exceeding 100 million each year to create a more sustainable future with customers. We took our first step in this effort in 2021 with the ‘Upcycling Shoes Project’ to make shoes out of end-of-life tires in partnership with MUSINSA and YASE. Going forward, we will collaborate with other footwear brands to continue making meaningful progress for the Planet Earth.
